OUR GOALS
The ULTIMATE vision for My Tic-ing Talent is to help TS children find a talent that shows potential to relieve some of the exhausting tic-ing that comes attached with such a syndrome; and to assist in creating a foundation towards independence as they enter adulthood. To achieve this, our goals and vision will be centered on the following:
* Create My Tic-ing Talent Forum to provide parents with an organized gathering of shared coping methods, treatments, talent builders and encouragement for children with Tourette's Syndrome.
* Providing support for TS children (and their families) in attending events in Arts, Athletics and Academics, specifically tuned for TS children and talent discovery/expansion.
* Because extra-curricular activities can be expensive, as well as challenging with a TS child, it is the hope of this future non-profit to help provide discounts as well as free trial sessions to activities in the areas of Arts, Athletics and Academics. We believe such 'free trials' could be beneficial in providing exploration in the talent best suitable for each individual TS child.
* In an effort to further promising TS children and their goals/achievements; offer educational grants to TS children towards both technical and educational institutions that would continue to build upon the TS child's natural gifts and abilities.
* Celebrate the accomplishments and further development of TS children by offering new business grants (and consulting) in the field of their graduated expertise.
